No it's not worried about the economy ... it's black laquer and then distressed to look worn. These pieces were custom commissioned. One is a bench big with storage big enough to hold cowboy boots; the other is actually a wire dog kennel made to look like a matching piece of furniture.
I would LOVE to have a dog crate like the black one you made.. what do they run?
